I am not one to turn down blessings. However, the answers to prayer and God’s provision are almost overwhelming to me these past few weeks.

Last week, I was thinking about the upcoming gift season. Christmas and birthdays.

I prayed and asked the Lord for some way to be able to buy gifts. I just don’t quite know how I will squeeze that all in.

On Sunday, I got to church and checked my mailbox to find another envelope in my box.

This time however, my name was handwritten on the envelope and the check was from the church.

I asked the treasurer about it and he said “It’s for you.”
I said “Yes, but I don’t understand why?”

He said “Someone sent it to church and said to give it to you so there you go.”

I was overwhelmed with thankfulness. God heard my prayer asking for help to buy gifts and 2 days later here was a check in my hands that will go quite a way toward making some special days for us.

I think all I can say is wow! Thank you Lord.
