A blessing of help
by adustyframe ~ December 3rd, 2006Last week our ladies Christmas party was held at church.
I don’t have a very long list of babysitters, especially for night time events.
I prayed, “Lord, help me find someone to watch my son so I can go to the party.”
I didn’t call anyone, I just mulled over in my mind who might be able to help me.
I got a call from a lady at church.
“Do you have anyone to watch your son so you can go to the party? My husband said to bring him over.”
Just like that, a prayer answered. Thank you, Lord.
When I reminded you about the little things the other day, this is one of those instances.
It probably didn’t (hopefully) cause him much stress to watch my son, but the willingness to help was huge to me.

It is so neat to see the body of Christ work together. It is so much more intimate than our modern welfare system. So personal and tailored.
I am greatly encouraged!

All I can say is praise the Lord for them!
