Oh, my. I have had similar conversations with my son who just turned 6. His father, my husband, has been incarcerated since he was 17 mths old. Just recently he was thinking how nice it would be for there to be another baby in the house...

Last year was about the first time it really hit him that his dad is not here. And it doesn't help that he isn't allowed to go see him in prison. But we are wrking hard to get that rectified.

(((hugs)))

I'm sitting here crying after reading many of your posts. An online friend shared your web address and I wanted to write. Thanks for sharing from your heart and not 'sanitizing it' like you mentioned about how some folks clean up their thoughts on their trials. We want to look clean and tidy to the world, and sometimes life is anything but clean and tidy.

You're all in my prayers. I just want to cry out to the Lord to provide a way out for your husband---for the legal system to show favor on him and for your family to be together once again and soon.

I'll continue to pray until I see here that your family has victory---and then some as you adjust to your life together again. I consider it an honor.
