More Blessings
by adustyframe ~ December 18th, 2006I know that I am blessed beyond measure.
I want to make sure that I record these blessing though! Often if I forget to write them down I forget. In times of despair I could foolishly look back and say that things never go my way or whatever silliness we like to say.
A lady at church has been bringing my son home from AWANA each week. She called a couple weeks ago to ask if she could also take him each night. Of course I said “Sure!”
So we run home from the store and feed little boy his supper. Then I have at least 1 1/2 hours to get things done at home. It is a fabulous blessing.
She called me last week to ask if her husband could watch my son during the Monday night ladies Bible study. AMEN! otherwise I have to pay a babysitter (and ummm….. the budget isn’t quite there!)
Another lady at church asked me on Saturday what can they do for us for Christmas. I said I just really needed time to get a few little presents without my nosey little boy tagging along.
So she is watching him this afternoon and I can run errands solo.
As I have said before these are not little things. They mean very much to me.
Thank you Lord for blessing me with friends that want to meet our needs.

You know, it really is the small things and gestures that mean so much. When folks are sensitive to what makes life easier—-that means the world.
So glad your friends are paying attention. Life is stressful enough, but sounds as if you’re being taken care of.
Still praying for your husband’s release. You’ll be able to hear me SHOUT when it happens!!!
