A question for you

by adustyframe ~ January 29th, 2007

I am trying to decide on a couple of things.

I have filed away in my little brain a lot of tips for homemaking, children, saving money. Stuff like that.

I do have the budget living category and I thought that maybe I would post some super cheap recipes once in awhile.

Here’s the deal though. I am not sure if those types of things would take away from A Dusty Frame as it is. Perhaps it would give you a clearer picture of our family and home.

What do you think? Keep it as is or add some other general life-type posts?

It depends on how much time and energy you have to devote to it. I like your blog as it is (and pray for you and your family every time I visit – which is at least once a day). However, anything you would like to add on, please do! I’ll read it! :)

you know what – a dusty frame is YOU. who and what and where and how you are and are going through your life. i think adding in those other parts of you would be awesome. you may even consider writing them all in a book someday :)

I’m all for general life type posts :-)

I would enjoy having you share recipes and things of that nature. That would help me out and would consider it a wonderful gift.
I have appreciated the other tips and “ways to help single Mom’s” posts that you have done. Wouldn’t this be kinda following in the same vein? :D
Thanks for asking our opinion! It’s such a blessing to read your posts!

I totally afree with the other commenters. I read and pray for you at least several times a week. My husband was in the same boat, for a very brief time(a matter of months). I could not imagine having to survive more than we did without him,you are a very strong woman. I truly respect you and your choices:)

I am always encouraged and learn from what you write. I too pray for you. I think general life type posts would be great, and I’m all for inexpensive recipes. Thanks for recording your journey so others can learn from and be encouraged by it.

I think it adds to the “picture” in the Dusty Frame just fine…..

I think that the need to live within budget is very real for many of us and is something which a lot of us can identify with. I have been toying with the idea of adding ‘food thoughts’ to my blog but it does not have a specific theme like yours. But your everyday life and how you are managing in times of trouble are what your blog is about and therefore I think it would compliment things.Maybe not lots of posts about it, but some….pretty much in the same way your ‘things to do for single parents’ was good.It falls into the same kind of category I think :)

    I’d still read you. :)
