Yesterday, my sister and her husband, my parents and I went to visit Lee.
We didn’t leave as early as we had planned to and I thought we were going to get caught in “count”.
Inmate count is twice a day. The afternoon count is at 4:40.
The guards don’t process any visitors from 4:20 until count is […]

I ordered Lee some Bible study books. I mentioned before that he just wanted some study books rather than things for his comfort.
I also sent him For Men Only. I need to get For Women Only and read it too.
I ordered them from CBD. Their price are usually fairly competitive.
I knew that the books had […]

Today, James and I had lunch with a lady I met at the prison.
When I told my mom about these plans she said, “hmmm…..” I told her that we were meeting in a public place and she’s just a wife like me. She’s ok to talk to.
I met Linda at the marriage seminar (the one […]

A customer of my store saw me tonight.
I was visiting Lee. I always wish no one I know would see me.
I told myself not to worry, SHE was there visiting someone too.
I just still prefer to be anonymous when I’m at the prison.
She walked past my table and I saw the recognition in her eyes.
She […]

Lee’s discouragement last week was hard on me.
It left me tired and frustrated that I couldn’t really help him.
I am still just feeling like I’m lagging behind not quite in the swing of things.
My family is arriving this week for the wedding. We are so excited to see everyone.
We did the math the other day, […]

Lee is doing a little better. Pastor went to see him today and he called me to report on their visit.
I was glad to hear that because I truly was concerned.
Thank you for your prayers.

I’ve mentioned before my Titus 2 woman.
She attends church with us and has been a wonderful encouragement to my husband and myself.
She has given me gas money, money for a haircut, & invited us over for dinner.
She emails me often about something I post on the blog. She prays for me and Lee and James.
She […]

Lee is horribly discouraged. I went to visit him tonight and he was not doing well.
He spent a lot of the time angry. Not at me but the situation. Some of it in tears.
I feel sad that I can’t DO anything for him.
Pray of course! If you think of him please pray with me.
I’m praying […]

James is about better. Poor kid! He woke up with dry heaves around 4 this morning. After that he perked up.
He ate some noodles and a Popsicle around 11 this morning and part of a sandwich at bed.
He did a lot of lying around today so I know he wasn’t quite better.
Hopefully tomorrow he’ll be […]
