I appreciate your heart in trying to make me feel better. The truth is that it doesn't matter if I'm in a stressful situation.I still am obligated to obey the Bible! It is very hard to take undeserved and hurtful wordswithout seeking to justify....I know, and I struggle too. Chin up sister! We react in a way that isn't what we would like to have and it is not a character flaw, rather a reaction to stress. Overcrowded conditions, the wedding, fear of your husbands future, etc. are all stressful. Forgive yourself and go on, knowing that you are perfectly normal and much, much stronger than many of us. You are a wonderful Christian witness and your blog is uplifting and admirable. Keep the faith. Our God is a good and forgiving God. I find that as soon as I've conquered one small flaw and bent myself to God's will, another area of my life opens up that needs work. I'm very thankful that our pateient God forgives our lapses and loves us anyway. I'm sorry the situation happened...I've been through a few myself and they're never fun, especially when you're the one getting your feelings hurt. I hope you and your family can learn from the incident and move past it. It seems that we never stop growing as Christians.
