A little bird told me…

by adustyframe ~ June 13th, 2007

something very special today.

I’ve mentioned my friend from church before. I call her my Titus 2 woman.

She and her husband visit Lee for me when I can’t make it.

They went today and she emailed me how the visit went. How does she know that I love to hear anything about Lee?

Here is what she emailed me tonight.

Hi Lizzie,

Just a short note tonight.

We had a very good visit with Lee this afternoon.

We played one game of cribbage. Then he taught E. how to play Double Solitaire.

It was fun.

We had a good conversation.

I asked him what was the most important thing he has learned in this whole experience?

He thought for only a short time.

He said, “I have learned how much my wife really LOVES me.”

That was precious to hear him say and I just wanted to share that with you.

No double solitare for me, but I’ll have to look up rules.

I got all water eyes reading what your hubby said. Praise God! It is times like these that you ask God why? Why does this have to happen to me? To us? So many blessings can come out of bad things like this and your husband knowing how much you love him is one. When all is said and done, your marriage will be solid as a rock and you both can help disciple others who have experienced the same. Everything happens for a reason.
