My Praise the Lord happened just this morning (Friday). I was waiting for traffic to clear from the left so I could cross an intersection. The traffic from the left cleared I started across the intersection forgetting to look back to the right when the traffic from the left cleared. I was about 3/4 across the intersection when my passenger said stop and fortunately the truck from the right was able to stop and not hit us. I was calm through out the whole thing but so thankful to God that the truck was able to stop and not hit us. Praise the Lord!!!

The full story is listed on my blog under Thankful Thursday. (I just found this post on your blog!). Long story short – God became very real in my son’s life. The last Sunday School lesson was “God Will Provide”. After we drove my husband to work, my son offered to pay for his own food instead of waiting until we got home to eat. He only gets a little money for mowing grass and gave *half* of that in the offering during our last church service. We had just missed breakfast hours, so we ordered a chicken sandwich (he really wanted a chicken biscuit). When we pulled around front, the cashier said if he didn’t mind the chicken being on a biscuit she would just give him one left over from breakfast. My son immediately gave God the glory and told me about the Sunday School lesson.
