Today, thanks to Just Call me Jamin, I learned that George Washington was too?!! Wow.

I am glad you enjoyed my post about Mary Washington! I remember quite a few years ago I read a book called “What My Parents Did Right”. It is a collection of stories from prominent Christians about their parents. It has been quite some time since I read it, but I am sure a few of them were single parents too.

maybe something you would like to visit. Although, I don’t know your whole story, I can tell that you are living with someone you love that is in prison. You may have heard of Carol Kent (she is wonderful). Her son is in prison on a life sentence. Her story is a remarkable one. One that God is using to touch many. She was a guest on Life Today with James and Betty Robison this past week. If you go to the site, you can click on webcasts and find the show with Carol Kent. I think you would be encouraged… Anyone would be encouraged. I was blessed. I thought you might want to see it… Blessings to you..
