Quick & Easy Lasagna

Quick and easy Lasagna


1 16 oz box lasagna cook as directed on package


1 1/2 lb ground beef browned with 1 medium chopped onion

Add 1 jar –32 oz –spaghetti sauce to beef


Salt and pepper to taste

mozarella cheese 1 ½ lbs sliced or grated

In a large cake pan,(9×13) place alternate layers of lasagna , sauce and beef mix, mozarella cheese.

Bake 350 f for 30 minutes

We had this for dinner tonight. I made them in 8×8 pans and put one in the freezer. That feels good.

    I was going to make this recipe, but I’m a little confused about the cheese amount. Is it 1 1/2 c. or lb.? How are you measuring poundage? What’s the equivalent in cups? Thanks. My husband hates most cheese, except for mozzarella, so I’m hoping he might eat this kind of lasagna…

    Hi, 1 1/2 lbs would be 3 8oz packages of shredded cheese.
    Sargento cheese says 8 oz of shredded cheese equals 2 cups. So 1 1/2 lbs would be 6 cups. http://www.sargentocheese.com/aboutus/faq.jsp
    You can add less if you like.
