I am a very amateur photographer. I love to scrapbook and that has led to a desire to learn more about photography. I want to take interesting photos, but I know very little.
I took some very nice photos at my brother’s wedding. I took a neat shot of James that I shared with you here.
I […]

Well, one of my blessings from the week was of course being able to spend an entire day with my husband.
Then on Friday, the washing machine arrived! It was such a blessing to be able to throw laundry in without packing it up, measuring detergent into a ziploc, gathering a child, purse, keys, quarters and […]

The day started with a headache that lasted all day, despite taking a pain reliever.
It made my day less pleasant. I think if I could have taken a small nap, I’d have been ok, but headaches are a fact of life for me and I have them often, so I made it. I wasn’t about […]

Yesterday was really nice. I have a lot to say and write about, but absolutely no time.
Today is a crazy day and I’m trying to scramble.
I didn’t want to leave you hanging so just letting you know, it was good and I’ll be back to tell you about it:)
Thanks!

On Sunday morning, I ran to see Lee.
Sunday School is at 9:30 visiting starts at 8:00.
“Starts at 8:00″ doesn’t mean start visiting at 8:00. It means the guards start processing visits at 8:00. Visits start more around 8:20 or 8:30.
So, I go for a fast visit, and leave at 9:30 to run across town and […]

(That title makes me feel like I need to cue the super hero music…..)
I called her this morning.
After I took a nap.
I said to James in a tight voice, “Mom’s going to just go lay down for a little while then we’ll have school in a bit.”
I laid down and asked God to please […]

Works for Me~tired feet

I put this in single parenting because I don’t get foot rubs right now!
When my feet are tired or sore, I rub them over a golf ball. It feels so good!
We have many nerve endings in our feet and we walk on them all day! No wonder they hurt sometimes. Not to mention what cute […]

I had a Dr’s appointment this morning. I woke James up early.
This is not his favorite thing! We hustled out the door with just enough time to drop him at Grandma’s and get across town.
The car won’t start.
It’s not cold. There is gas in it.
Nothing. It doesn’t even sound like it’s getting any gas.
Last night, […]
