James and I hung out with my new friend Gigi this weekend. I wrote about meeting her in this post. We went to Barnes & Noble. I had some gift cards so I was able to get a couple of books I needed for school AND a drink in the coffee shop without spending anything.

That is always a big blessing!

Then she took me to a store I had never been in. Now, you must know that I am not much of a shopper and I do not have extra cash to spend. But my Titus 2 friend had given me a gift of cash on Friday afternoon and told me to do whatever I wanted to do with it.

I used a little bit of it to buy this super cute shoes for $3.50.

I know I have a lot of other things to spend money on, but seriously ladies. The polk-a-dots called out my name! And in case you’ve not noticed, I happen to like the color red.

I am enjoying them immensely and I can’t help but think with inspiring shoes like this I am going to be able to create up a storm!

If they don’t make me more creative, I’ll just enjoy wearing them.
