I have been VERY blessed this weekend and it’s still only Sat morning.
My sister-in-law and I are attending (last night and today) a wonderful Deeper Still conference with speakers Kay Arthur, Beth Moore, and Priscilla Shirer. They had a surprise concert last night by Mandisa, which was fun even though I’m not really a concert kind of gal and I turn into a pumpkin at about 10:00 p.m.
But even more, before the event began my SIL and I had dinner together and in our visit, God revealed some awesome things to both us. We thought we were just “talking,” but before we knew it, we were both exclaiming at what God had just revealed to us.
We left dinner headed for the conference thanking God for a “sneak preview.” And on the drive home, he did it for me again as my SIL and I visited more. I was just as blessed by my SIL as I was by the things Priscilla shared at the event (which were good, too). Not surprising to me, but I wasn’t expecting the added goodness of God before and after. Isn’t He GOOD? And I have no doubt there’s more in store later at today’s event.
Sounds like a wonderful event! How wonderful that God spoke with you before you even started the sessions!
