I received this email last week from Lisa.

I lead an “American Heritage Girls” squad at a local Church [not our home Church--we're too small!!]

After following your blog and praying for you and your family, I decided our Christmas Service project would involve the Angel Tree. We’re asking someone from the prison ministry team to speak and I want to go thru your posts and see if there is one I could read to my 5th grade girls to present the “family” side.

Thank you for inspiring this–most of these girls are way too sheltered. They live lives my daughter [from Ukraine] cannot understand–extreme privilege and faith is something you do on work day in the Church etc. I am trying to get the girls to see REAL faith in action. Your blog has been a great inspiration!

This is why I blog. To show you how difficult this trial is, how needed encouragement is, that there are hurting people all across our land that need Jesus.

I am so pleased that something I posted encouraged them to do Angel Tree for a service project. The children touched by their giving will be so blessed.
