James had a blast fishing
by adustyframe ~ October 6th, 2007I so enjoyed watching his excitement this morning.
He bounded out of bed at 5:29 a.m. full of energy and excitement.
This is the same child that burrows under his blankets after 8:00 some mornings saying, “I’m still tired!”
He caught 5 fish and had a wonderful time. He spent the afternoon telling me all about it.
What a blessing!
I went to see Lee quickly this morning before running to work. We had a fun visit and did a lot of chatting.
My friend Gigi brought me some beautiful flowers this morning. She said it has probably been awhile since someone brought me flowers. They considerably brightened my day!
She also brought a little pumpkin for James. That made his day too.
My Titus 2 friend and her husband had us over for dinner tonight. We had a yummy supper of hamburgers, hot dogs, veggies, chips and brownies. Then we watched Facing the Giants together. They hadn’t seen it yet.
Then my Mom called and that’s always great too.
So, praise the Lord. Today was a very good day.

I’m so glad James got to go and had fun! I was thinking about him and you last night, and wondering how it went. It does sound like (even in the midst of difficulty) God is blessing you through people in your life.
