An exciting weekend
by adustyframe ~ October 17th, 2007Thursday is marriage seminar day. I’m very thankful for the opportunity to sit next to my husband all day!
On Friday, James is sleeping over at his friend’s house. He and his friend haven’t seen each other in several weeks and they have some serious playing to do!
On Saturday, James has a birthday party to attend. The little boy is one of our customers. They attend another church in our area, and his mom and I often chat about the Lord and things he’s doing in our lives.
THEN! My friend Joy is coming for the weekend. We can’t wait.
James has been counting the days since she was here in April. When J oy is here, we do a LOT of laughing.
Joy is a missionary and is presenting her ministry to our church. We’re doubly blessed. We get to house the missionary and have fun with our friend Joy! She will be traveling in our area for a few days, so she’ll also come back next weekend for a day or so.
I will try very hard to remember to post Works of God Weekend by Friday morning! Sometimes, when I get so busy, my brain short circuits on me!

Lizzie, I just found your blog yesterday (and read all the archives instead of studying for my exams!). You are an incredible, strong woman, and I’ve been drawn back here a couple of times today because your seminar day was on my mind. I hope it blessed you.
