I went to the Dr. today
by adustyframe ~ November 8th, 2007I need to find out if my exhaustion is a physical problem or not.
She did bloodwork, felt all my glands, discussed what I’m going through.
I was honest with her about Lee being in prison and I told her it’s very stressful.
She said, “I can imagine. Well not really because I’ve never dealt with that.”
Then she looked me in the eyes and said kindly, “Do you find that people treat you differently when they know?”
I said “Yes, they do sometimes.” and turned away before I teared up.
Yes sometimes people do treat me differently. Thankfully not my family or my friends or my church.
So, now I wait to see what the lab results are.

Lizzie,
I am very relieved you went to the doctor and for being open and honest. I’ll be praying everything comes back OK. May I ask if you and the doctor discussed a mild antidepressant? I remember you were considering that some time ago.
Praying for a healthy and refreshed Lizzie!
Jenn
Jenn, yes we did. She wants to see what the blood work shows first. She said that I may need something but if I am anemic or my thyroid is out of whack, it’s most important to see if being treated for that makes a difference.

Lizzie,
I’m so sorry you’re going through this. You guys are in my prayers, and I know God will get you through this as well, but still….please try and get some extra rest, and know that we all care. Sending you a cyber-hug,
Marie
Thank you, Marie
