Sweet little boy
by adustyframe ~ November 12th, 2007My son is quite the sweet little guy. Yes, he has his moments and I don’t think he’s perfect, but he so often does wonderful things that continue to amaze me.
Last week at AWANA, his team had the most points. They won a candy bar.
I go visit Lee during AWANA and a family at church graciously takes him there and brings him back to their house until I come back. So we don’t always quite connect about how AWANA went until the next day.
Last week, he told me, “You know my team won and I got a Twix. But I didn’t eat it.”
“You didn’t?” I asked.
He said, “No, I gave it to S. His team never won.”
I told him that was very sweet. I also said, “You know you don’t have to do that if you don’t want to. It’s ok if you want to keep it.”
He said, “I know, Mom, but I guess I have a problem with sharing and I don’t think I’m going to get over it.”
Awww! I’m so thankful that he’s a considerate and giving little boy. He loves to give and he notices when others have been left out. I am blessed to be his mom.

Aww, what a sweet little man. He sure seems to say the darndest things…so insightful for his age. Amazing. You should be proud.

I too have a sweet little boy in my family (my grandson). When he was 4 his family had gone to a festival on a hot spring weekend, as they were leaving at the end of the day he noticed some parents being short with their children and raising their voices…my sweet grandson said “Mom don’t all parents love their children?”…another time he asked me “Nana if Jesus collected all of the tears that have ever been cried how long would it rain?” I too am thankful for his tender side. He accepted Christ when he was 7 years old and I pray he will always have a sincere desire to fother Christ and to lead others to Him. God Bless, Pam, South Bend

What an absolutely wonderful expression of LOVE!!! James has learned something at a young age that many people never learn. He is sweet and sensitive to others feeling. BEAUTIFUL!!! You are blessed.
