Marriage Seminar & Misc

by adustyframe ~ November 14th, 2007

Tomorrow is marriage seminar day again. It’s truly such a blessing to be able to spend this time with Lee.

Please pray with me that I won’t have a headache. The first time I did. Last time I did not. I enjoyed last time so much more. I can’t carry in any pain relievers in case I get a headache so I am asking for prayers and trusting God to help me have a pleasant day.

Also –too much information! If you’re a guy you may want to skip this paragraph.

–but I just got my cycle and I also cannot carry in extra “necessities”. Nice!

They have cheap  “necessities” to buy in the bathroom which is better than nothing, but my other prayer request is that it will be light tomorrow.

In other news, the store was busy again today. Praise the Lord. Thank you for praying. I’m still praying for each day to be a high total.

I went birthday shopping for my son tonight. A friend of mine had sent me money and a Walmart gift card. She wrote in her note, “I hope you can use this for something.” Oh yes I surely can.

I almost cried at the checkout counter. I am so thankful that God provided money for presents and even necessities. I stocked up on socks and underwear for him and myself.

I found some very nice items at very nice prices and was able to stretch her gift very nicely.

I don’t know if you can understand my gratitude. If you’ve never had to pray for God to provide socks and underwear or laundry soap, it may be difficult for you to know how very thankful I am for the care others show me.

I am so blessed that God has proven himself faithful time and time again through this trial. He provides in amazing ways at exactly the right time.

Thank you friends for your prayers and encouragement.

Happy Thursday.

So glad you had another good day at the store. Glad you will be able to spend the day with Lee tomorrow. Also will be praying you won’t have a headache tomorrow. How wonderful you could get the things you needed! Never give up. He will supply all your needs. Our God is an awesome God.

Nothing makes a girl feel better like new socks and undies! Hey what can I say, I’m easy to please. Just about everybody gets new socks and underwear under the tree at Christmas…it’s kind of like a tradition.

I hope everything goes well tomorrow and you are able to enjoy your time with Lee, sans the other little inconveniences you mentioned. ;)

Glad to hear the sales at the store are going well. You are so blessed to be close to Lee and able to visit. I have a nephew who has been incarcerated for 10 years and is so far away he rarely gets visitors. Now he’s being moved even father away. He went in when he was 16 for a crime his parents committed. They have never attempted to see him. So sad . . . . .

Lizzie, you are such a blessing….your faithfulness reminds me of the many, many, many times in my life that the Lord has provided for me in unexpected (to me) ways. You are in my prayers….Pam, South Bend
