Are you shopping today?
by adustyframe ~ November 23rd, 2007I never shop on this day! I also never have my shop open on this day. I usually have a long quiet weekend.
However, with the store closing, this is our “everything goes to 70% off day”.
Please pray with me that the store will be busy and that a lot of the leftovers will be sold.
There is still a lot and I still have a few fixtures to sell.
If you’re like me and prefer to do your “Black Friday” shopping online, Amazon let me know that they’re having lots of special today and you can use my link to pop over there if you like.
Have a good day!

I avoid stores the day after Thanksgiving! To me it’s too crowded and stressful. But I know many people who love getting together to do that.
Hope your sales go well!
Thanks, Barbara. It’s too crowded for me too!

I used to be one of the crazies standing outside of a store at 4am on black friday. The last few years, however, nothing has really seemed worth the headache.
I suppose now that we have kids, we’ve re-prioritized our spending habits.
I will confess that I ran to Toys R Us today, but not until 10am. Was trying to get my daughter’s dollhouse accessories for buy-one-get-one, but I was too late. Also ran into Target…to get cat food. That was nuts. Will plan not to run out of cat food on black friday next year!!!!
Hope you enjoyed hosting your guests yesterday for Thanksgiving.
We spent time with Hubs’ 97 year old grandparents yesterday. How nice to have them in our lives. The absolutely adore having family around, especially the little ones.
Praying for a busy day full of sales for you!
Thank you for praying:). Your Thanksgiving sounds wonderful.

We never shop today either. I am praying for excellent sales for you today and till the store closes. I just got our Christmas letter mailed as I won’t be able to at the normal time this year.
Thank you for praying, Beth.

I always stay far, far away from stores today. The savings just isn’t worth the craziness to me. The funniest thing I saw was an ad for Kohl’s promoting their 4am opening. FOUR AM???? No thanks! Then they showed a pair of men’s jeans on sale for $9.99 instead of the usual $19.99. My husband said he could use a new pair and I told him I’d gladly pay the additional ten dollars to go at a decent hour.
lol, Anonymom! A good night’s sleep is worth $10 isn’t it?:)
