Cleaning out the inbox

by adustyframe ~ November 26th, 2007

I was looking for a friend’s email address tonight. I realized I had a lot of old outdated emails and I began to delete them.

I found this one from nearly a year ago and thought I’d share it.

I have shared before that our church is absolutely not perfect. Some times I wonder about people, but this was a good reminder to me that our pastor loves us.

I will be praying fervently that God will provide. I would like to say I know how you feel, but I don’t and I never will. However, I know, as you do, that God is purifying all of you. For what reason, I don’t know yet, but He is preparing you for something.

Tell James that his Daddy hasn’t changed physically, well, I guess he’s put on a little weight. But dad has changed a lot on the inside so that this won’t, Lord willing, happen again.

And by the way YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BE SAD!!

I know you don’t need anyone’s permission but it’s okay to be sad, not fun but okay. In Psalm 103: 14 it says, “For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.”

God knows this is hard and it’s okay to cry out to Him, it’s okay to let Him know that you are struggling as Job did. It’s okay. He loves us for who we are, human beings which He has created and died for. He will send His comfort and He will eventually heal all wounds.

Again, we love you and are praying for you!!!

In His awesome care,
