Today’s the first day

I am still tired. I still have a MESS in my house. Little by little, corner by corner things are shaping up.
I tackled the paperwork mound today. That’s going to take some perseverance!
This morning, I got up early–even though I stayed up too late last night! I just need to get on track and not waste time. I took a long hot shower and used lotion on my dry arms and legs. I can’ t remember the last time I took time to slather lotion on myself. It felt so good and my skin has been saying, “Thank you” all day.
The ever present tension in my shoulders has lessened. I’m still a long way from being caught up and very far from “having nothing to do”.
But, I’m thinking as Martha would say, “This is a good thing.”

Lizzie, you sound so refreshed in this post! Doesn’t it feel good to tackle the piles? May you have many more productive days ahead like this one!
Feels so good:) Still not dug out, but making progress at least.
