What we did yesterday
by adustyframe ~ December 7th, 2007Yesterday was declared “A Day of Crafting”.
We had school in the morning and cleaned a few things around the house.
We listened to Christmas music
I made a pot of chai tea. It was extra yummybecause we used the Christmas tea pot and tea cups.
Then we crafted all afternoon.
James worked on making cards to send to his friends.
I worked on finishing up my ornaments.
This one is for my brother and his wife. Let me just say, getting a wallet size print into a Christmas bulb was challenging. It also has some of the silk rose petals from her wedding, but you can’t see them that well in this photo.
I won’t be able to have too many “let’s do nothing but fun” days, but we surely enjoyed yesterday.
This has nothing to do with anything, but isn’t it cute? It’s a candle holder I found at the thrift store for .25.

Hey I recognize your Pfaltzgraff teapot! I have had my eye on that for a while.
One of my dreams is to get Christmas dishes… someday!
I absolutely LOVE those ornaments you made! Those are great. My favorite is the one with your brother. That is really special! I’m sure they will love it too.
Thanks, Ashley. I would love Christmas dishes too! Now that I have the Pfaltzgraff Winterberry tea pot, I’d really love a set of that pattern:). Thanks for liking the ornaments too;)

Sounds like your day was fun! I really like the ornaments. We made similar ornaments last year, only I printed off sheet music and used that with some black and white ribbon for our piano and choir teachers. They loved them! T
That sounds really pretty! I may have to make one. I have some music scrapbook paper! Thanks for the tip.
Yes, our day was very fun. I think we needed it.
