I haven’t had much time to keep everything updated here!

The marriage seminar on Thursday was wonderful. Lee and I usually sit toward the front. This time we sat toward the back and we whispered most of the time rather than listen!

Oops!

One exercise was to  shower your mate with praise. That was special. It’s always nice to hear or share the things we love about one another. Why don’t we take time to do this all the time?

We watched another Gary Smalley video. This one was some methods of communication which of course we keep working on.

Lunch wasn’t as snazzy as usual. That’s ok though. It was just so special to spend the whole day with my husband.

On Friday, I began getting mysterious emails and donations in my email. I finally twisted some arms and found out that some of you had planned a surprise for me to help me buy a camera. You (all of you who read and comment and pray) are very sweet to me and I am grateful for your support. I never in a million years expected something like that and I wouldn’t ask for it! But your care blessed me immensely.

I received a nice start for the camera fund. Thank you.

On Saturday, James had practice for his program all day! I went to visit Lee and then took a nap. I wasn’t feeling well on Saturday.

Yesterday, we had visitors for the program. We had a great time visiting.

James’ program was so cute. They have practiced since September. I always say that for a small church, they put on a “Broadway” presentation.

We had an Angel Tree scramble too. One of the families squeaked in their information right after the deadline. So last night, I had to rustle up donations. I offered to go shopping if people didn’t have time. I just simply couldn’t afford to buy all the gifts.  So James and I have some shopping to do today or tomorrow.

I am trying today to catch up on housework and I have to get some more paperwork done–time is running out for that! I owe some payments by the end of December so I must get it done.

So there is my weekend in a nutshell!
