You beautifully captured this scene and took us there, so we could see it and feel it. This needs to be in a magazine! Thanks again for sharing with us.

Thank you, Judith! You are so kind.

Dearest Lizzie, I'm a bit behind on my blog reading and just found the link to your blog over at Crystal's. I look forward to exploring it more! I especially look forward to your links and anything you have to say about single parenting for I am a single mom of 6-1 girl(17)and 5 boys(15,13,10,8 and 4) I am adding you and your family to my daily prayer list. I look forward to visiting again soon :-)

Blessings,
Renee

WOW! Single mom of 6! You should be teaching me! ((HUGS))

You and your family will continue to be in my prayers. I pray that this will be your and James' last Christmas apart from your husband. Thank you for sharing this part of your life with your readers. Have a blessed day in Christ.

Christy

Thank you, Christy. That is a very sweet wish!

Thank you for putting a face on the prisoners and their families. It is easy to label them, and to forget that each one has a mother, a wife, children and friends who love them.

This is a tough time of year under the best of circumstances. You and Lee and James are in my prayers.

Thank you, Peregrina. It's easy to label anyone. Thank you for thinking about that--it's too easy to forget that prisoners have loved ones who care very deeply for them.
