Here is the camera that the Lord graciously provided for me.

I told Lee the other day that I don’t feel like I deserve this. My sweet husband said,

“Well you don’t!”

He’s right. We don’t deserve any of the blessings God sends our way do we?

I am trying to learn. It’s totally different than my point and shoot! My mind is boggled right now.

Do you like my cool strap?

I was reading on a photography forum and someone shared a link to a place to buy funky camera straps. I thought they were cute but not for $32.

Someone else showed how they made their own. They took it apart and sewed ribbon over the top.

AHA! How cool.

I cheated though and fabric glued this ribbon onto my strap.

I’m praying for some sun tomorrow so I can practice a bit more.

Way cool! that’s a reallllyyy good camera! have fun with it!

I’m glad to hear you think it’s a good one. It’s a Rebel XT. I decided to not go with the XTI and I can’t go any higher than that!
    These babies get pricey!

Well, love, how precious for you to make sure we knew she was a GIRL! HA! What’s wrong with glue? That’s what I’d have to do to snazz up my camera strap.

New cameras are daunting…I’m still learning mine (and I get to take a class this weekend, wahoo!!).

Can’t wait to see your “new and improved” pics…I bet you’ll have fun learning :) .

A class sounds good! I think I may need to take one.

    Thanks;)

How exciting! I got a camera like that last summer and I have been having SUCH fun with it! I hope you’re able to turn it into a really profitable business. :-) Have you checked out DIYPhotography.net? It might be a good reference for you as you build up your skills and portfolio. :-)

Also, I wanted to let you know that I finally posted my brownie recipe that you asked me for a very long time ago! Enjoy! Ashley’s Favorite Brownies
