I worked on this altered clipboard at the end of our Christmas break. I saw this idea a long time ago and the clipboard has been hanging around for several months.
I wanted some place pretty to keep all the bits of papers that seem to perpetually float around. I also greatly enjoy making everyday things pretty to look at.
But I think I’m really a goofball.
I didn’t want an ugly clipboard hanging around to look at everyday.
Now that it’s pretty, I don’t want to cover it up with papers.
Oh well–it looks nice in my kitchen.
I intended to hang it on the refrigerator with a magnet hook. I can’t find them. I found a suction cup hook that says it attaches to metal–it doesn’t!
So this beautiful clipboard is hanging on the side of my microwave devoid of papers.
It sure is pretty to look at though!

Super…every altered thing I try ends up looking….amateur? awful? Your clipboard looks just GREAT!
