Peace with God

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
I was cleaning around the kitchen this morning and noticed Lee’s certificate on the refrigerator.
He participated in a Prison Fellowship study at the last prison he was in. When he finished he received a completion certificate. He sent it home and I put it on the fridge.
That verse caught my eye this morning.
I read it aloud. I was overwhelmed with the knowledge that we can have peace with God.
The God of the universe, our Almighty Omnipotent God made a way for ME to have peace with him.
Wow doesn’t even begin to cover it.
It’s amazing to think that he desires a relationship with us. A relationship characterized by peace.
What a wonderful God we serve.

I totally agree – wow doesn’t begin to cover it. To think that Jesus paid the price so we can be spared from eternal separation from God, and His wrath, and instead, we can be His friend, and have peace with Him. What an amazing God. What an amazing plan. All glory and honor to Him!
