Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies
by adustyframe ~ February 5th, 2008This is actually a Weight Watchers recipe that I found ages ago. (I forgot to copy down how many points they are though)
They are pretty healthy so James and I like to have them for breakfast.
The recipe is supposed to make 1 serving–1 huge cookie. I double it and make smaller cookies. I got 7 cookies this morning and 2 or 3 cookies is definitely filling.
Add a serving of yogurt or a piece of fruit and your morning is off to an awesome start.
Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies
1/3 c. oatmeal
1 Tb raisins (optional)
1 Tb flour
1/3 c. powdered milk
1/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. brown sugar splenda (or other sweetener–
if you use sugar or brown sugar, double this amount for each recipe.)
Preheat oven to 350. Spay a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
Mix all ingredients together and spoon onto cookie sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown on edges.
Eat warm!

Are these really that good?????
They aren’t like eating a cookie;) But they are tasty and ok for breakfast. James says to tell you, “If a KID says they’re good they are. Of course she can add chocolate chips if she wants.” lol
