A pretty tea cup
by adustyframe ~ February 11th, 2008I am pretty much a coffee girl. However, last Christmas my son and my sister bought me a pretty Christmas tea pot.
Since then, I’ve begun to drink more tea. James and I have teas sometimes after school. We eat a snack, listen to our composer, and sip tea. I had collected some little cups but they were nothing fine.
Last fall, I participated in a swap and received a dainty tea cup. I was hooked.
Tea tastes so much better in a pretty cup.
I found this one at the thrift store for $4.00. I think that’s a deal. I’m not going to start a huge collection of tea cups, but a couple is ok right?

nothin like tea in such a beautiful tea cup! my youngest would LOVE this pattern – she is very dainty and girly-girl. my oldest would HATE this pattern … she is very “hip-hop” and “cool”
Tell her hip hop and cool people drink tea too;)

I don’t remember how I came across your blog…but I sure am enjoying it. I have saved it as a favorite and visit you often. I would love to have a couple of hours to myself where I could start at the beginning. Maybe someday…but until then I will keep reading it daily. Rebecca
Rebecca, Thanks for letting me know you found me:)!
I appreciate hearing from all of you. There’s lots of great stuff here–I say that only because it’s all of God. Maybe you can pick a month at a time to read in the archives. Have a great day! Don’t be a stranger.

Lizzie,
That cup is beautiful. Did you notice the heart cut outs. Is that the one I seen before. If so I didn’t notice the hearts before. You need at least three for when Lee is back home. Hugs to you and James. Have a GREAT day!!!
Yes you saw that before;)

What a beautiful tea cup. We love to have tea, although not everyone drinks it. I have two that prefer hot cocoa instead. Your right, there is something about drinking it out of a pretty cup!
Rebekah
James prefers cocoa as well.

I love to have a cup of tea with my china as well. I think it causes me to sit back and relax a little. You can’t really run around and be a busy-bee with a cup and saucer as you can when you have the robust cup of coffee!
Good point!

I think us girls like pretty things… and a few things that enhance our daily experiences can’t be all bad.
Enjoy your pretty tea. I like mine iced, but tea is always good.
I like iced tea too! When I was pregnant I drank ice tea like crazy! Then I didn’t have any for about 2 years;)
