A surprise in the mail
by adustyframe ~ April 4th, 2008Today in the mail, I received a check that I wasn’t expecting.
Apparently I was owed a refund on my business insurance. I had to pre-pay a portion of the policy in August. Then I made monthly payments through November.
I just thought I had paid what I owed. I didn’t know I was getting a refund.
I had just prayed that I’d be able to buy a few necessities–things like socks, etc.
Unexpected blessings are wonderful. Thank you, Lord.

I’m finally visiting your blog! It looks really nice. I’m so glad you got a nice surprise in the mail. Isn’t it fun when that happens? I sure hope you buy yourself something nicer than socks, though. Some awesome yarn, maybe?
Went shopping tonight and picked up a few things for your “Bloom” swap box. Don’t forget to let me know if you want anything special!
Haha;) Yes maybe some yarn;)!

Dear Lizzie, That’s wonderful! I just wrote you an email but I forgot to include this scripture: Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. Lamentations 3:19-24 KJV
Sincerely, Susan
