My Dad sent this to me this morning.
THE SAFEST PLACE
How to stay safe in this world
1. Avoid riding in automobiles. They are responsible for 20% of all fatal accidents.
2. Do not stay home because 17% of accidents occur in the home.
3. Avoid walking on streets or sidewalks because 14% of accidents occur to pedestrians.
4. Avoid traveling by air, rail, or water because 16% of all accidents involve these types of transportation.
5. Of the remaining 33%, 32% die in hospitals. SO! avoid hospitals at all costs.
BUT! You will be pleased to know that only .001% of deaths occur in worship services in church.
Therefore logic tells us that the safest place for you to be at any point in time is church.
And the percentage of deaths during Bible study is even less.
So go to church and read your Bible.

That’s rich. It made me crack up….the more recent one saddened me. When I’m interpreting in criminal court, often they bring someone in from lockup shackled just like you described. I’ve often thought how humiliating that must be. Our Savior was shackled, too. So He understands.
Thanks for letting me know you’ve seen this and that it looks humiliating. You’re right the Lord more than understands.
