Score! (or not)
by adustyframe ~ April 22nd, 2008Yesterday was 1/2 price day at the thrift store. James and I went to see if there were any goodies we needed.
I found a red quilted bed spread with shams. It was marked $30.00 so it would have only been $15.00. I looked it over and thought about it, but I only had $10 in cash. I also wasn’t sure if the red would work with my lampshade.
Today, I gathered my lamp shade, got some cash at the bank and headed out to the thrift store again. I decided that even though it would be $30.00 today that was still a good deal.
When we got there it was g-o-n-e! Oh well. I guess that just means I’ll find a perfect one later.

How disappointing!
Red can be a hard color to match from memory, though, so you did the right thing. Even though you ended up without it!

There’s probably a nicer one and a better deal out there. But ya, red is a tricky colour.
