Ebay picture tutorial
by adustyframe ~ May 1st, 2008I was perusing blogs this morning. I saw at The Nesting Place that she had listed some items on Ebay. Being nosy, I had to peek. I noticed that she had multiple photos in her listing, which costs $$$.
I asked her to email me so I could tell her how to save $ on Ebay listing fees.
Here are the directions I sent her and hopefully they can help you too!
1.Go to www.photobucket.com
Sign up for a free account.
Upload your extra photos there.
2. Copy and paste the html code by the photo you want. (It will be on the side of the photo–several options–you want the html one)
*I have 2 windows open when I do this.
3. Go to your ebay listing, on the top it says Standard (or normal I can’t remember) and html–this is right above where you are writing in the description.
4. Click on the html tab.
Find where in the text you want to insert the photo.
Paste the html link you copied from photo bucket.
When you click back to the standard view–there is your photo
Then you don’t have to pay Ebay extra for each photo–it’s completely legal
*So you upload the free photo to ebay. This is what people see in the search.
*For the additional photos you use photobucket.
This probably sounds like Chinese, but if you print it out and read it step by step when you do a listing it will probably make sense.
This tip saves a lot of money!

I need to bookmark this–I have listed a couple of things in the past, but am pretty inexperienced. There are a few things I’d like to list while I am packing…
