Rejoice in the Lord
by adustyframe ~ May 7th, 2008On my way home from visiting Lee today, (yes I have visited him everyday this week), I heard this song on the radio.
I haven’t thought about it in ages.
Ron Hamilton wrote this song when he lost an eye to cancer. Since that time he’s had a children’s music ministry and he is Patch the Pirate.
I sang along in the car tonight and thanked the Lord for the wonderful reminder to rejoice.

Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to post even though things are so crazzzzzzy for you right now. I check your site at least twice a day so I can know how to pray for you.
God Bless, Pam, South Bend
Pam, the fact that you check often to know how to pray means so much to me. Thank you.

Just wanted to know that I am praying for you and your husband, and your little boy, too. I love that song. It was the first song I played on the piano in church.
Thank you, Jen. How neat that the song has special memories for you!

I’m praying for you. I love this song – I think it’s one of the best he’s written.
Yes it is a good one. I think it’s because it came from so much pain. Thank you for your prayers.

Thanks so much for sharing this song. I learned it in elementary school music class and it’s meant so much to me at various times over the years, especially through some rough junior high moments. I had looked for this song numerous times in recent years and could never find it; so glad you did, now I can listen to it whenever I like.

Have been praying for you and Lee and James, I know that the upcoming weeks will be quite an adjustment for all of you and you’re going to need Him more than ever.’
I appreciate your prayers very much. You are welcome for the song!
