Tomorrow afternoon, we will be at a funeral for Lee’s brother. He died about a week and 1/2 ago, but he lived in another state.

All of the other family members live here, so our service is tomorrow.  We were blessed with the help and support from those closest to us, we followed a basic funeral plan guide, everyone seems to be on board with it, hopefully everything will play out gracefully. This is a very hard time for Lee’s family. His brother was only 56 years old and this is the first loss in the immediate family.

Lee had to have his free time extended tomorrow to allow him time to attend the service. His parole officer didn’t even say “I’m sorry” when Lee told her that his brother died. At least she changed his hours to allow him to go.

We are so thankful that he’s not in prison for this. One of our greatest fears was that one of his family members would pass away when he was there.

You can pray most of all for Lee’s parents. This has been a difficult time for them.
