To weld or not to weld…
by adustyframe ~ June 23rd, 2008
Lee finishes welding class tonight. This has been a really long time period for him. He went to class the week after he was released and his job started shortly thereafter. He has been putting in 15 hour days for the last several weeks and he is tired.
Shortly after I asked you to pray that he would start passing his weld tests (or labs as they are actually called), his teacher began passing his welds. That was a big blessing.
Lee has to take a written test tonight and then he is done.
He had a call back from a welding company last week and we’re hoping to get an interview scheduled. Their schedule didn’t work and then his didn’t, so hopefully in the next day or so things will come together.
I’m so proud of him for taking the initiative and getting this done. He is a hard worker and I am thankful for him.
Please pray with us that he can find a higher paying job soon.
**He passed the class with a B! I am so proud of him. It was an entire semester of college in 5 weeks and he got a B. He said he doesn’t ever remember getting a B before–he’s proud of himself too.

Praying for him! My brother is a welder {union Millwright actually] and the days are really, really long. Hope he can find a decent paying “normal” welding job!
