This and That

They were supposed to mail him a proposal which never arrived. Apparently the human resources manager was on vacation all week. They told him to come in at 6 this morning and he said he’d call me if he didn’t really have a job. He hasn’t called yet.
I can’t wait to hear how his day went–and how much they’re paying him!
I spent the morning working on organizing the first several weeks of school. My brain is rather tired, but it feels good to have the organizing underway. I think that we will start school on August 18th.
My former employees and I are going out to Starbucks tonight to catch up with each other. I think it’s fun that we still like to spend time with one another. This will be the 2nd time we’ve gathered since I closed the store. My sister mailed me a Starbucks gift card last week–just in time!
It’s pretty rainy here today and I feel like taking a snooze, but I think I should be disciplined and get my work in the kitchen done for today!
