I’m not going to get to blog- in fact my blog resembles a grave yard at the moment! But I have really had to dig in this week and pray to see that home is my field of service. That when I have put the boys to bed and have to tidy the kitchen and hoover the lounge and put the toys away for the umpteenth time, and pick up the baby who refuses to sleep through the night and cope with feeling unwell (yeah, its been a tough couple of weeks)….that really it is a privilege to do these things. That these ‘boys- all three of them, are a blessing to me from God. That He keeps me every day and has given me this home. That in serving them I serve Him. Oh , and that I really really really should know by now that prayer and bible reading help the day immensley.Like dur!And though it shouldn’t amaze me, it actually works. You know I have been saved for 13 years and known the gospel all my life and seen the faithfulness of God all around me and yet I am silenced by the simple fact that faith and trust and obedience are answered and help and strength is given. Now I just need to remember it all for next week!
