Time for Autumn

by adustyframe ~ October 9th, 2008

Earlier this year, I had a hydrangea from my brother’s wedding in here.

In the spring, I had a robin’s nest with plastic eggs.  I never found anything to put in it for summer though.

Aren’t  these little pumpkins so cute! I found them at the farmer’s market for .50 each.

The white spots on the tips of the Autumn garland can be attributed to the CAT! She sits there and chews on the tips. Thanks a lot!

I enjoy pulling out my Autumn decor. I am still loving my knit pumpkins from last year. I also have Pilgrims and pumpkins, turkeys, and squirrels.

Do you have any favorite Autumn decorations?

This is our favorite time of the year, hence our daughter’s name – Autumn. Decorating our front porch is my favorite. We get hay bales and mums and a few scarecrows. Although we’re in the middle of nowhere and rarely get visitors, it does my heart good to step up on our porch and see the decorations. You can see a photo of it here – http://bethouexalted.blogspot.com/2008/09/autumn-decorations.html

    Pretty!:)

I don’t decorate much for any time of the year but Christmas. I figure the gold aspens on the Rockies is decoration enough. I love driving around here and seeing the mountains from wherever I am. I have trully been blessed!

    Sounds yummy!

This is something we do not do over here- I always love looking at pictures from the States though. I love Autumn.

You don’t decorate for Autumn? Do you have trees that change all sorts of colors? I love Autumn!!

Very cute! I just put up mu autumn decorations yesterday. I haven’t shown pictures of them this year since they are the same as last year, but they are here and here. I have a lot of scarecrows but I wasn’t very excited about them this year — I guess I was getting tired of them. But when I pulled them out this year, I was reminded how cute they were so I put them out again.

    I don’t think I have any scarecrows!

I LOVE to decorate! That period between Easter and Halloween (or Autumn) lasts forever. :) But from now till Easter, it’s decorating heaven.

    “Decorating heaven” lol!:)

    Hi Liz,
We grew some pumpkins and corn this year. I am hoping to make a front porch decoration with a couple bales of hay, the dried out corn stalks and a few pumpkins. I am not very creative but this seems simple enough that even I could make it look cute. Have a great day.

Sounds neat! I always mean to get cornstalks but then I don’t.
