Blessings
by adustyframe ~ November 13th, 2008A couple of weeks ago, I was talking with my mom. She asked if I had everything James needs for winter. I told her that I think we’re all set except for boots.
Later that week, I was cleaning and sorting things in the basement and I found a nice pair of Land’s End winter boots in the exact size James needs this winter. I had purchased them at the thrift store for $1.95. I forgot about them!
What a blessing to have everything he needs. It makes my mommy heart feel very good that he will be cozy and warm this winter!

Thank you for sharing how you have seen God provide. It helps me open my eyes to see what He is doing in *my* life.

Wow! Lands End for $1.95! What a bargain! Even better, you already had them!
My former stepmom (my dad’s wife #2, long story)sent my kids Lands End one-pc snow suits last year in one size too big. I contemplated returning them and using the store credit to purchase some clothing. Instead I kept them in their plastic wrap and put them on the shelf in the coat closet. I pulled them out this week (we had our 1st snow!) and guess what?! They fit perfectly this year! Wahoo! That is a blessing just when we needed it. I just need to go out and purchase extra mittens.

Wonderful! It’s so good for our children to be warm on winter days. :~D
I’ve been wearing my favorite wooley socks for several days now. Tonight, I finally threw them in the washer. Now I must go put them in the dryer, before I put them back on my feet!

Do you suppose God was thinking, “she cracks me up, those boots are right where she left them”
Glad you found them
