Thank you for praying
by adustyframe ~ December 4th, 2008Several of you have mentioned that you are praying for us.
Today, I was thinking that I could literally feel the prayers. I am so blessed to have each one of you in my life. Your kindness and prayers means so much to us.
I’d like to ask you to continue to pray for decisions being made. We will probably know something tomorrow and then perhaps I’ll have something to tell you.
I’ve been struggling with telling God what I want done and letting go and acknowledging that he is sovereign.
Why DO we struggle so? We aren’t in control for even a millisecond yet we hold on so tightly thinking that we are.

“I’ve been struggling with telling God what I want done and letting go and acknowledging that he is sovereign.”
I was just talking with my counselor about this very same thing yesterday!
Praying that today is the day that you, Lee, and James see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi Lizzie, I was just reading the transcripts for Nancy Leigh DeMoss’s program, “Revive Our Hearts”, and I thought of you. Her Thanksgiving series, “The Blessing of Thorns” (Nov. 27 to Dec. 2) was especially helpful to me. Check it out. Praying for you and your family!

We continue to pray for these decisions that are being made. Glad to hear you might hear something tomorrow. We too struggle with holding on or taking back things we have placed in God’s control. While actually it remains in Gods control even when we try so hard to think we can control anything. Love you. “The will of God will never lead you where the GRACE of God cannot keep you”.

I don’t know who said it, but there’s a saying “Fear can keep you up all night, but faith makes one fine pillow.” Sleep well tonight, Lizzie. You are in our prayers.
Excellent quote! Thank you for sharing it and for praying.
