Works of God Weekend
by adustyframe ~ January 2nd, 2009Have you had any blessings since our last Works of God Weekend?
We’ve had quite a few!
*I found a new winter coat for James for less than $10.
My sister and her husband spoiled us ROTTEN while they were here. It was a huge blessing to have the adult help with the car, snow, house, energetic boy, etc.
They took James Christmas shopping for me and I gave him $20. Well, he came home with far more than $20 worth of stuff! My sister bought me a shirt too and a mysterious wad of cash was found under my alarm clock when they left.
I am blessed to have such loving siblings. My brother and his wife were here too and they helped me tons too!
*I was given a HUGE box of books to sell and I’m very grateful. Quite a few of them are for sale in my Dusty Attic shop.
*Lee seems to be doing well. The chaplain in the jail has been investing a good deal of time with him and I’m glad to hear that.
*I was given many gifts from many friends and loved ones this year. Thank you if one was from you!
I am very blessed and I suspect you are too! So what has God been doing in your life?
(It doesn’t have to be a material thing. Your work of God can be something you learned, a change in a hard situation, anything!)

I seem to constantly have to “cast my cares”, and He has been so faithlful to calm me and bless me.

I am thankful for my husbands kindness daily, our home, food, clothes, good music our daily needs HE is always supplying. Also His word, our church, Christian friends in many different states, His never ending supply of mercy and grace. He is so very good to us.

I am thankful for all the wonderful friends here who feel like family. I was able to share some of the struggles and blessings that God has given me over the past 3 years. Many hard lessons to learn, but His way is best. Made a new friend at the New Years Eve party. She seems like she’s very strong in the Faith and will be a lifter-upper and not a puller-downer. God is so unimaginably good!!!
