Answered Prayer
by adustyframe ~ February 10th, 2009This morning when we started school, James and I prayed. I asked God for something to sell on Etsy or Ebay.
I spent most of the day battling a nasty headache–a by product of my old neck injury. While I was trying to rid myself of the headache, a treasury I was in on Etsy was featured on the front page.
Here’s a screen shot of the treasury. Isn’t it pretty? My knit flower is on the bottom row.
I didn’t know this until later, but the neat thing is that 2 items sold out of my store. I told James about the sales and was able to share with him that God cares even about “little” prayers.
What a blessing! I’ve been grinning from ear to ear all night!
P.S. You can save a few bucks by shopping in my blog store rather than Etsy. I almost always put the same things there. Although sometimes I forget or get behind. Some items are different of course because Etsy is only for handmade or vintage.

The other day, we were having a rough time finding a parking spot and when we found one up close, I said “thank you,LORD!” Now your niece says “Mom, the Lord gave us this parking spot!” every time we park.

I love the “little” blessings we receive.
Last week I had to find a dress for Meg to wear to the funeral and money is pretty tight with the foundation problem and taxes coming up. So I headed to the mall and prayed. After scouring the mall, finding only expensive frilly Easter dresses, there at the last store was the perfect dress for $10 on the clearance rack!
I think those little blessings we’re given are sometimes reminders to us to trust Him with the big stuff.
