Enough Time
by adustyframe ~ February 18th, 2009I’ve been making myself get up earlier in the mornings. It really does help the day go much more smoothly and I get so much more done!
This morning, I caught the end of Adrian Rogers Love Worth Finding. This quote got my attention.
“There is enough time in each day to graciously do what God wants me to do.”
What do you think about that? When I think about it, it reminds me that I try to cram unimportant non-priority things in my day and then get stressed out when they don’t get done.
If I look at my priorities and pray about what God wants me to get done each day, I have a lot less stress.
I also liked the fact that he said, “Graciously”. I’m pretty sure that means no grumbling, “woe is me”, hissy fit throwing about how much I have to do in a day! (yikes!)
What do you think about this quote?

Obviously God has a bigger clock than I do!!!Just Kidding….I think that statment is very true. I also think that we (I) tend to take as long as I have sometimes to get something done. IE. When I worked full time outside my home I still managed to get everything done…now if I have all day….I sometimes

True! I think I discovered I need a schedule even at home on “do nothing” days.

I think it is very challenging. Getting up earlier is not really an option as the children are usually awake by 6 any way…..so I must need to pray more and organised the day better! And graciously….gosh…….time to get on my knees I think!

I’m always amazed at how much I can accomplish in a day when I stop thinking about everything that I need to do and start working on it
