I was thinking that I should really go to bed! It’s far past my bed time, but I wanted to post this and share my blessings before I go to bed.

Here are a few of my blessings from the past week.

1. One of the men from church came over on Saturday to check out the brakes. The brake line is broken and so he got the other car running–including changing 2 flat tires.

2. My sister in law brought me flowers for Valentines day. I thought that was very special. Oh, and Lee drew me a pretty calligraphy Valentine too.

3. James has been ill for the past couple days. He’s feeling a bit better and sleeping soundly right now. I’m glad the coughing seems to have eased up a bit. I’m thankful that I get to be home with him nursing him back to health.

4. I’m thankful for a friend calling me and hashing out some stuff with me yesterday. I was down and trying to sort out some things. It was very encouraging and I’m thankful for her time and wisdom.

5. I’m thankful for a little chat I just had on Facebook with a friend of mine from college. I even told her about this part of my life. That’s not something I do very easily.

6. When I prayed with James before school today, I almost prayed out loud again that God would provide some online sales today. But I didn’t. In my pea brain, I thought, “I don’t want to hurt James faith if God doesn’t provide the sales. And I don’t want to be treating God as a genie in a lamp.”

So, I prayed it quietly to myself.

“Oh ye of little faith!” I sold 2 items on Etsy, something in The Dusty Attic, and something on Ebay.

I love how God answers prayers even when our faith isn’t quite where it should be!
