Picking Cotton

Picking Cotton tells the story about a woman who identified the wrong man after her brutal attack.
That man spent 11 years in prison innocent of the charges he was serving.
I took the time to watch the video from 60 Minutes which you can viewon this post.
I loved how she spoke about the forgiveness he extended to her.
Take a minute to watch the book trailer. I think I’m going to see if I can find this book and read it. It sounds like an incredible story.

So sad…the amount of DNA evidence that is freeing prisoners is amazing. In contrast, I find it ironic when an entire church watches a man murder their pastor, they wrestle him down and he is taken directly to jail, and THEN he is called a “suspect” who “allegedly” murdered the pastor. Now that is frustrating!
