Man. Now I'm crying (in a good way). God is awesome. I'm so glad you have people to talk to who understand in this way.

I'm tearing up.

And I'm beginning to believe more and more that God can use the "royally messed up" people more than the "everything is peachy" people.

Look at us Christians. We're all royally messed up, in one way or another. That's why we know we need the Lord and are finally willing to follow Him.

For the people who everything is swell in life, it's harder to use them because, well, why would they need the Lord? Everything is great without Him. (that's what I hear sometimes from pple who's life seem charmed)

Look at the Bible. Most of the greatest biblical people have made stupid, grave mistakes. David committed adultery, Paul killed Jews... the list goes on. These horrific acts weren't out of place with our sinful nature. What was amazing is that the Lord still used them for His glory, DESPITE their sins and weaknesses.

We got a truly amazing God. :D

What a sweet post. This guy sounds like a perfect person for your husband to have as a friend. It's great when folks act normal and don't make issues of what others are going through. We're all dealing with some sort of 'stuff'.

Wanted to say that I got some great little vintage clothespins in the mail today. Love them...thank you so much. :) Enjoyed doing business with you.

Cool;) I didn't realize that was you!

That letter brought tears to my eyes. How awesome that he's reaching out to Lee like that. And I think your ladies' group is equally wonderful!

That is wonderful, and so great that Lee shared it with you too. Thank you Lord! I am so glad you have a support system to help you through this time also. It is true, if God leads you to it, He will lead you through it!

We should never doubt that the Lord can reach us-wherever we are, although we are often tempted to. What an encouraging affirmation of that fact
