Still determining to move forward through forgiveness. My friend at church commented Sunday that I seem much more secure in my identity in Christ lately, not knowing anything about what God's doing in me.

To Pam: I'm so sorry. Praying for your friend's family, too.

God's work for us is this: We have found a church home ... after watching and waiting for about 3 years. During that time, God has provided amply with fellowship from many angles. But since we moved to a new place and haven't made many friends yet, I have been so terribly lonely and aching for fellowship, accountability, reaching out in service, listening to the preaching of the Word, and simply being more connected to the body. The new fellowship we are meeting with is not perfect and we are out of our comfort zone in a few areas, but so be it! The folks there are preaching the gospel with boldness, pouring themselves out in love to the body and sharing Jesus and loving on folks who haven't found him yet. I'm so thankful. I'm praying God will help me let go of my fears and wounds from previous experiences and that I'll be freed to love and pour out, too.

I'm glad to hear this!

My praise is that my neighbors Tom & Maureen are going to take my husband and I to the hospital the day of my husbands surgery so I won't have to drive home from there alone. As scheduled he should only have to stay overnight one night.

Amen!

My heart is thankful----but heavy....my best friend since childhood (56 years) daughter has been diagnosed with a serious mental illness...she has two very small children who thankfully are safe...but the prognosis is not good. She has been commited to a mental health facility. Please pray for everyone involved...the woman, her family, the professionals...I know the Lord can interveen and has already kept them all safe...and I am very thankful for that.

((Hugs)) and prayers. I'm sorry.

Isn't it great when God provides good prices on things we need? He is so good to us in so many ways! Thanks for sharing how He's working in your life!
